Just Start
You know what’s really hard to do when you’ve got several good ideas?
Picking one option...and getting started.
It’s so easy to get into a game inside your head of which path is better and how you need to make the best decision possible. Sometimes, though, the answer is “either one is good”.
The angel message that’s been showing up in triplicate lately is that just like sometimes there is no right answer, sometimes, there is no wrong answer.
The beauty of life is in the experiences.
Each one of us has been equipped with tools in our toolboxes to navigate the life we are in. If we don’t have the tools, someone will appear in our pathway with exactly what we need. We simply need to be open to help.
Which book should I read? Which class should I take? Which meal should I make? Which direction should I go when I walk out of my house this evening?
There is no right answer. There is no wrong answer. The important thing is to take the step. Pick up a book to read. Sign up (and show up) to a class. Prepare a meal. Go on a walk.
Notice that these are all verbs.
To do something is key.
In my first conversation with my Reiki Master Teacher, she told me that I had everything I needed to be successful. It wasn’t necessary (gulp) that I take a bunch of classes or get another degree. She said that most people who came to her had the skills, knowledge, and know-how to do what interested them – but they got paralyzed in motion. She impressed upon me that I needed to move forward.
The surest way to fail/to be unsuccessful is to never start.
You don’t have to pick the perfect next thing to do. If you listen to your intuition, you will find that everything aligns in order better than any spread sheet you could come up with. You will meet exactly the right person. You will be in the right class, or job, or event at the perfect time to receive and understand a particular message. You will learn the thing that excites you so much that you feel like doing cartwheels!
The most important thing you can do is JUST DO IT.
Stop being concerned with perfection. Stop perseverating on all the things that could go wrong. What about all the things that could and will go right? Trust that.
You have a Guardian Angel, with you since birth, who is concerned with your well-being and that you experience love, and peace, and adventure, and happiness, and live according to your soul’s path and purpose. Doesn’t it make sense that the things that make you excited are things that your Guardian Angel is prompting you to do? And that if you get interested in learning or experiencing several things at once that the only thing dictating the “right order” is the availability of that opportunity?
Just do it.
Take the next step that aligns with your passion and excitement and do that. The following step will unfold when it’s time.
Trust.
Your angel has got your back!
