4 Years Ago…
Where were you 4 years ago?
Me: I was starting Peaceful Soulutions LLC – I had just been attuned as a Reiki Master and Teacher and decided to start a business. I was learning how to create a website, take credit card payments, keep business records, and make my own business cards. I wasn’t sure about marketing myself or my new business, so I reached out to the owner of a crystal shop and hoped to generate some interest while I kept myself busy learning as much as humanly possible as quickly as possible.
I was scared, but also excited...that kind of nervous feeling where you don’t know what you’re doing, you don’t know what you don’t know, but you’re also at peace.
I made mistakes...not big ones. I’m still here after all, and it’s impossible not to make some. They’re the best teachers!
I have learned sooooo much! (And not all of it through mistakes!)
I still give reiki sessions and oracle card readings, but the strong energy sessions and dynamic readings have become even stronger and my channel clearer!
I took more classes. I read more books. I added certifications: Medical Intuitive, Psychic Medium, Angelic Psychic Medium, Advanced Vibrational Sound Therapist – Trauma-Informed. I started a blog. I wrote and held classes on reiki, but also how to communicate with angels. I wrote a book! (I’m working on the publishing – that is being filed under “learning a lesson”).
The person I am today is not who I imagined I would be...ever! I couldn’t have imagined this version of me if I tried.
I’m not like anyone I know. I’m not like anyone on TV. I’m not even like a fictional character in a book. I have friends that have abilities that I admire immensely and wish I could do too...but if I were them, what ability do I have that they don’t would I have to surrender? We are all unique in our gifts and abilities because the world doesn’t need a bunch of clones.
Each of us is meant to use our own gifts to make the world a better place. The easiest things for you are the biggest clue of what you should do. Let the people who find ease doing the things that are a struggle for you be experts at those things. Struggling is a major clue that you’re following the wrong path. Your gifts are highlighted by ease and enjoyment.
I love what I do!
There has not been a day in the last four years where I haven’t been delighted to get to work with energy, cards, or teach a class. Helping people in this way fills my soul and energizes me unlike anything I’ve ever done.
My prayer is that YOU are experiencing the peace, joy, and fulfillment of being on your soul’s intended path. If you’re not, if there’s any way I can help you get there, I would be honored.
I don’t know where I’ll be in the next four years. I know I’ll have at least one book published, but I am sure that I cannot imagine the complete beauty of what lies ahead – and I kind of don’t want to.
Surprise me, Universe! I will continue to follow the clues and say, “yes”. You have not let me down so far, and what’s around the corner promises to be every bit as appealing as this...and more!
