Bloom Where You’re Planted

Angel messages come to me in various ways for this blog. Sometimes I wake up inspired. Sometime a chat with a friend will spark something. Often, I just sit down at the computer and start to write the first thing that comes to mind. This week’s blog comes courtesy of deep feelings I get sometimes, and the inspiration came while I was on a walk.

The feeling: I don’t fit in here. It’s lonely being the only one to think the way I think, and I would be happier living out in the country where what I think, or do, or create would not matter.

The answer: The big feelings you’re feeling are exaggerated. You are indeed different, but you are called to be who you are in the place where you live. When you live your authentic life, you inspire others to live their authentic lives.

The first message to you, is to be aware if you get thoughts like these in your head: completely nonjudgmental and encouraging. If/when you do, it is your angels speaking to you. They want you to trust in what they are saying!

The second message is the message given to me: If you are feeling lonely, weird, or like you don’t fit it somewhere in your life, instead of thinking it’s a mistake, consider that perhaps you are there to teach others to be more authentically themselves.

I admit, it’s not comfortable to be in a position where you feel like you’re being judged for being different than most of the people around you. Being the first to take a stand or do things differently than they’ve always been done makes you stand out like a sore thumb. That’s not an easy place to be. I promise, though, that you are meant to be a leader. You are making a difference, and it is for the highest good! So, the angels say: “Stick it out! They are behind you and will help you not feel so isolated or weird.” Also, they say, “thank you for making a difference!”
