Archangel Michael
Originally I had intended to write this blog about the winter solstice, but Archangel Michael had other plans. That’s okay. We are pretty tight these days and I’m glad (with the help of Archangel Gabriel) to use my communication skills and outlet to get his message across. Michael gets pretty insistent and I appreciate that.
Archangel Michael, or AA Michael, or Michael, or even “Mike” in a hurry, wants us to know he’s around. His presence is BIG and STRONG and protective and healing. I once heard it described “if God is the sun, angels are the rays”. “Angel” translates to “messenger of God”, so the connection is there for sure. The thing is: Our free-will reigns, so unless we need to be saved from a life/death situation before our time is up, we need to ask angels for assistance. There are millions of unemployed angels out there waiting for jobs, so don’t be shy about asking, they will be as grateful to you as you are to them.
Archangel Michael knows there are a lot of hurting souls out there, and not just because we are in the deep-dark of winter (at least here and now in the northern hemisphere). He wants you to know that praying to angels can help. Our burdens and darkness do not need to be our own because we are not alone and they want to help.
Archangel Michael is known in the Catholic Church as St. Michael; the patron saint of police and military because of his strength in battle. If you are currently in a battle and needing strength, wisdom, or healing, Michael can assist you. When I see him, I see colors that range from royal blue to indigo to royal purple and sometimes they mix with an emerald green (Archangel Raphael) when extra healing is needed. A year ago I was driving on icy roads and started to slide on a corner. I called his name and my car immediately was righted and I was safe the rest of my trip. My sister, Rebekka, and I were having a phone conversation about him, questioning why he was such a big deal, when he showed us by interfering with our call with a loud (deafening, if you’re asking me) sound that persisted for several minutes. When we were able to reconnect we laughed and agreed we would NEVER doubt his power again. I have never had a reiki session or reiki attunement when Archangel Michael hasn’t shown up. And my mother-in-law, who has begun driving more than ever before, now repeats “angels, angels, angels” in order to be protected and to get green lights and good parking. There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s helping.
Recently, I read an old (c.2008) book by Lorna Byrne, called “Angels in My Hair”. She has had a close relationship with Michael all her life, but wasn’t sure of his significance until well into her adult life when she began doing energy healings. She had so many people come to her and was praying for their healing all the time. Michael came to her at this time and this was when she learned who he was. He told her that God heard her prayers and wanted to give her a specific prayer to use and to give to the people that came to her for healing. I’m going to give it to you now, exactly as Michael read it to Lorna from his scroll.
PRAYER OF THY HEALING ANGELS THAT IS CARRIED FROM GOD, BY MICHAEL, THY ARCHANGEL
POUR OUT THY HEALING ANGELS, THY HEAVENLY HOST, UPON ME, AND LIGHT UPON THOSE THAT I LOVE.
LET ME FEEL THE BEAM OF THY HEALING ANGELS UPON ME, THE LIGHT OF YOUR HEALING HANDS. I WILL LET THY HEALING BEGIN WHATEVER WAY GOD GRANTS IT.
AMEN.
So - there you have it! Use this prayer whenever you or your loved ones need healing; physcially, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually…and then leave it to God to know what is for the greatest and highest good. Then “thy will be done”.
Whether you need help finding a good parking spot or are struggling with a major health problem, or anything in between, angels are here to help us. The above prayer is a gift to help connect straight to God for the healing you seek, and while it may not come in the way that you seek, you can be assured that it WILL come in the way that is for the greatest and highest good.
Peace to All of You!
With love,
Margaret
